How to Care for Air Plants

"If you care for your air plant, your air plant will in turn, care for you!" - Port Dr

GIVE YOUR PLANT THE FOLLOWING LOVING TIPS:

Light:  All air plants require bright indirect light.  Place near a window (few feet away) for indoor placement, or under shade for outdoor placement.

Water:  Use a Spray mist 2-4 times a week (try to wet all sides of the plant), or as needed. All plants will need to be watered more frequently in drier/warmer weather and less during the cold weather. You can also remove the plant and submerge into a room temperature bowl of water for 20 minutes, once a week (If you’re ph conscious, air plants prefer 5.5- 6.0 alkalinity).  Make sure to flip the plant upside down after soak, to prevent any water from rotting the leaves, by gently shaking off the excess water. Let it dry out before placing in terrarium.

Air:  Make sure your plant is in a well ventilated location.

WHAT YOUR PLANT CAN DO FOR YOU:

Improve air quality in your space by absorbing the carbon dioxide in the air, and turning it into oxygen.
